Pokhara is a birdwatcher's paradise. About 525 species of birds can be spotted in and around the Pokhara Valley.While 185 species can be spotted all year round, the rest can be seen during hatching and migration periods, which varies from species to species.
Our resident birdwatching guide, Mr. Hari K.C, has over 15 years of experience in Birdwatching and has spotted 150 species of birds in a single day (in alititudes varying from 800 to 2200 meters.) Mr. K.C makes personalized programmes according to the interest of the guest, depending on the weather and the season.
